Welcome! I’m Cathy Anderson, an award-winning Master Photographer based in Morganton, North Carolina, serving clients across Western NC, including Asheville, Charlotte, Boone, Hickory, Marion, and beyond. I specialize in senior portraits, sportraits, family portraits, couple sessions, and adventure photography.

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT?

- My goal is to help you feel confident and at ease from the very start. I believe great portraits begin with trust, so I take the time to get to know you and understand what matters most.  Every session is thoughtfully designed around your personality, goals, and story. Whether you’re a high school senior, an athlete, a couple, or a family, your session will feel relaxed, intentional, and completely unique to you.

- I craft each image using solid traditional lighting techniques and intentional composition, paired with a deep understanding of your story and personality. I do not rely on Photoshop to create my images—I work in-camera with light, precision, and purpose.

- I’m a second-generation photographer with decades of experience, a national photography educator, and a proud holder of three professional degrees from the Professional Photographers of America: Certified Professional Photographer, Master Photographer, and Photographic Craftsman. I’ve taught at Imaging USA, ShutterFest, SYNC, and for Canon USA.
